From a three-day roundtable discussion around the beginning of the MAP project, about contemporary art in South and Southeast Asia that took place in Bangkok, Thailand, I identified various cross-cutting themes that I believed would be of interest, and created four meticulously edited audio podcasts. The one on the term “avant-garde” was one of the most listened to audio tracks within the Guggenheim SoundCloud account, which has almost 750,000 followers.
